Solaris Dutamas Mall, Malaysia
BSD conducted thermal comfort analysis for the enclosed pedestrian areas to evaluate opportunities for energy efficient design. Thermal dynamic simulations were conducted to determine the heat flux on the studied area. The data is then used as boundary conditions for the airflow simulations. The studies showed that based on the cooling provisions and expected human and solar heat load, cooling provisions could be downsized and still achieve acceptable human comfort levels. |
