Wah Wah Myint Thu. BArch, MSc (Bdg Sci) LEED AP, GMM Wah Wah has an architectural background with strong interest in environmentally sustainable building designs and technologies. In 2003, she received the prestigious ASEAN Graduate Scholarship Award to pursue a post graduate degree with the National University of Singapore. She also worked as the Research Assistant at the Department of Architecture, NUS. During this period, she assisted the principal investigator in developing, computational simulations, data analysing, visualisation and documentation of the BIPV design proposals for commercial buildings in Singapore. These included providing 3D modelling with material properties, simulating the model using sun path and weather data of the location, analysing the solar radiation, identifying the potential area for the PV integration and performing calculations of the estimated energy production of the installed PV systems. She also supervised architecture Year 4 and master students with computational simulations. She was also a member of the organizing committee for the International Conference on Passive and Low Energy Architecture (PLEA 2007) in Singapore. She has vast experiences in green building design having worked on Green Mark Platinum projects such as Bishopsgate Residences, Gardens by the Bay, Changi Airport Terminal 3 as well as the green fit-out of the offices of various multi-national companies targeting LEED awards. |

David Edenburn. BEng, LEED AP After obtaining a degree in Polymer Engineering, David Edenburn worked for nearly 30 years for several multinational chemical companies developing plastic materials for electronics, transportation and construction, specializing in fire retardant materials. During this time he held positions ranging from research chemist to regional (Asia Pacific) business manager. David lived in Singapore from 1987 through 1994 while managing the Asia Pacific business for Albemarle Corporation. David is an active participant on standards development on an international level, representing the United States on several international committees as well as national standards bodies including the International Code Council which writes the building code for the United States and the NFPA which writes the electrical code. In 2001 David Edenburn became a Certified Fire Protection Specialist. In 2005 he was trained and licensed as a home inspector by the state of Louisiana and as a building inspector by the International Code Council. In 2007, he was certified LEED AP status and NAHB Green Verifier certification in 2008. From 2005 through 2009 he performed hundreds of building inspections and worked on several green building programs including the restoration of New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. |
